Mani criticises CPI (M) for ridiculing Jesus Christ

Posted on Feb 05 , 2012 in Kerala

Talking to mediapersons here, he said it was not good to politicise religious leaders.

CPI (M) was marketing religious leaders for its political gain, he alleged. He condemned the CPI (M) stance that its general secretary Prakash Karat and other leaders were equal to Christ.

The revolutionary teachings of Jesus Christ and that of the Marxist party were entirely different. Marxian doctrine was based on materialism but Christ’s spirituality based, he contended. (UNI)
